Odion Ighalo opened his goal account and provided an assist as Watford came from two goals down to beat West Ham 4-2 at the London Olympic Stadium on Saturday.
Etiene Capoue, Jose Holebas and Troy Deeney were the other scorers for Watford.
Mikhail Antonio scored West Ham's two goals.
The win was Watford's first of the season.
Ighalo went close for Watford after only minutes but his left foot strike hit the side-netting.
West Ham took the lead in the fifth minute through Antonio, heading in Dmitri Payet's corner.
In the eighth minute Daryl Janmaat almost turned Antonio's cross into his own net luckily the ball came off the post.
A minute later, Ighalo's goal-bound shot took a slight deflection and went wide.
Ighalo went close after connecting with a cross but Adrian made a save.
Antonio made it 2-0 for West Ham on 32 minutes, heading in a brilliant cross from Payet.
Watford halved the deficit on 41 minutes through Ighalo who saw his shot take a slight deflection off James Collins.
And two minutes into added time, Deeney drew Watford level after curling into the top corner.
Ighalo almost put Watford ahead on 48 minutes but his left foot strike missed the target.
Capoue gave Watford a 3-2 lead on 52 minutes after unleashing a left foot volley.
Payet had a chance for West Ham on 59 minutes but his clever chip was saved.
Watford went 4-2 up in the 63rd minute through Holebas who drove in a low strike off Ighalo's cutback.
In the 69th minute Isaac Success was introduced for Ighalo.
Success went close on 72 minutes after beating his marker but Adrian made a save.
