Ighalo Sure Goal Drought Will End, Success Returns; Musa Battles Iheanacho

By Johnny Edward:

Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo hopes to end his goal drought of ten games when Watford host Everton at Vicarage Road on Saturday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

Ighalo who last scored a goal for the Hornets in their 4-2 win away to West Ham United in October has gone two months without scoring. But he remains confident of ending the drought.

"The goals will come," Ighalo told Completesportsnigeria.com in a brief chat.

His compatriot Isaac Success who returned to the substitute bench after a one-month layoff due to a hamstring injury could play his first game for the club since October 16 where he featured for 89 minutes in Watford's 1-0 win away to Middlesbrough.

At the Emirates, Iwobi will look to continue his scoring streak for Arsenal who host Stoke City on Saturday.

The 20-year-old Nigerian international has made ten English Premier League appearances. He last scored for the Gunners in the league in April in a 4-0 win over Watford.

At the King Power stadium, Ahmed Musa will be aiming to make his 12th league appearance for Leicester City when they face Manchester City and Kelechi Iheanacho, who has failed to add to his three goals, failing to score in the league in his last five games.

Musa has fired blanks in his last four games though has found the back of the net twice.

Iheanacho last scored in City's 1-1 draw at home to Southampton in October.

It remains to be seen if Pep Guardiola will hand Iheanacho a starting role in the absence of Sergio Aguero in the encounter.
