Ighalo Targets More Watford Goals, Wins

By Adeboye Amosu:

Odion Ighalo says Watford’s 1-0 win against Swansea in last weekend’s English Premier clash can kickstart their campaign after a  troubled start to life in the top flight.
The Nigerian striker who scored the winner for his side in the encounter believes they should target another three points this weekend when they face a struggling Newcastle United at St James’ Park.
“The three points we got in our last match was good for us,” 26-year-old Ighalo told Watford’s official website.
“We have been doing well as a team but were not scoring enough and so we weren’t winning games.
“But that win against Swansea will give us a boost and it is good for our confidence ahead of the next game.
“With 10 men against Swansea, we still fought hard and kept the win and I’m so happy that we have showed that much composure and it is good for the team’s confidence.”
Ighalo has scored 22 goals for Watford in 40 appearances since joining the club from Italian side, Udinese.
