Maccabi Tel Aviv Nigerian midfielder, Nosa Igiebor will be in action when his side welcome Hapoel Haifa in an Isreali Ligat Ha’al tie. The home team are currently 3rd on the league table with 16 points after 9 games while the visitors are struggling in the lower rung of the ladder where they currently sit in the 13th place (second to the last) with paltry 8 points.
Igiebor and his teammates should be able to wrap this home tie up without much fuss to keep up their decent run even though they they need to close down the gap between them and league leaders Ironi Kiryat Shmona who are on 23 points.
Meanwhile, Igiebor’s compatriot at Hapoel Tel Aviv, Harmony Ikande has also become an established player at a club he arrived only this season.
Ikande, a former former Nigerian youth international has played 9 games with a goal to his credit and the midfielder will again be in action for his side as they go on the road trip to Maccabi Haifa tomorrow.
Hapoel are 4th on the log with 14 points and an away win against an 11th place Haifa with 9 points will further help their climb on the Ligat Ha’al table.
