Super Eagles midfielder Nosa Igiebor has joined Maccabi Tel Aviv on a three-year deal after passing a medical at the Israeli outfit on Wednesday.
Real Betis permitted him to leave their pre-season camp at San Pedro del Pinatar on Monday and to travel to Israel to conclude his move after they faced stiff competition holding on to him following their relegation to the Segunda Division at the end of last season.
Igiebor who previously plied his trade with Hapoel Tel Aviv in the Ligat ha’Al before signing for Betis in 2012 makes a return two years after moving to Spain.
Igiebor may be unveiled as a Maccabi Tel Aviv player before the end of the week.
