Maccabi Tel Aviv midfielder Nosa Igiebor has said that he is fully prepared for Tuesday night’s UEFA Champions League second qualifying round game against Maltese team Hibernians.
The Nigerian international who scored three goals in 30 appearances for his team last season was one of the 23 players that departed Tel Aviv for Malta on Monday morning.
He wrote on his Instagram wall: “I am ready for the game.
“These games can help us step up the level of our play, regardless of the final outcome.”
Meanwhile Hibernians coach Branko Nišević has revealed that his side will not be easy meat for the Israeli champions ahead of the game.
“As we do in most of these types of matches, we start out as underdogs,” Nišević told uefa.com.
“But that does not mean that we will surrender the moment we step out on to the pitch. These games can help us step up the level of our play, regardless of the final outcome.”
