Iheanacho Honoured To Play For Nigeria; Simon, Madu Expected In Uyo

Manchester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho is pleased to rejoin his Nigeria international teammates in camp for Saturday's 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Tanzania in Uyo, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.


Iheanacho who could make his fifth appearance for the senior national team joined up with the squad on Tuesday.


He took to Twitter to share his excitement representing his country.


"It's always an honour to represent my country, happy to be back with the team," he wrote via his Twitter handle.


He last featured for the Eagles in their 1-1 draw against Egypt in the 2017 AFCON qualifier in Kaduna earlier in the year.
