Nigerian youngster Kelechi was on target as Manchester City cruised into the semi-final after defeating Hull City 4-1 in Tuesday's Capital One Cup quarter-final clash.
Meanwhile, veteran Nigerian striker Yakubu Aiyegbeni scored a hat-trick in Kayserispor's 7-2 Turkish Cup win at Sariyer away also on Tuesday night.
Iheanacho who replaced Wilfred Bony in the 71st minute, poked in a Raheem Sterling cross to put Manchester City 2-0 up in the 80th minute.
He also scored and had two assists in the 5-1 win against Crystal Palace in the round of 16.
Bony opened the scoring for Manchester City in the 12th minute before Kevin de Bruyne added the third and fourth goals in the 82nd and 87th minutes.
Andrew Robertson got a consolation goal for Hull City in the 90th minute.
In action for Hull City were the Nigeriantrio of Sone Aluko, Chuba Akpom and Moses Odubajo.
Aluko later made way for Robert Snodgrass on 73 minutes while Akpom went off for Abel Hernandez in the 67th minute.
In other Capital One Cup results, Everton defeated Middlesbrough 2-0, while Stoke saw off Sheffield Wednesday.
