Super Eagles first choice keeper, Carl Ikeme, has hailed his Wolverhampton Wanderers teammates’ performance in their 1-1 away draw against Aston Villa in the English Championship on Saturday.
Ikeme was beaten from the penalty spot by Jonathan Kodjia in the 15th minute.
But Helder Costa drew Wolverhampton level also from the penalty spot in the 34th minute.
Reacting to the draw, Ikeme posited that Wolves deserved the three points while praising his club fans for their support throughout the game.
“Thought the team’s performance was excellent and deserved more. Fans were brilliant as well,” he wrote on his Twitter handle.
