Nigeria Professional Football League side, Ikorodu United of Lagos, have appointed former Warri Wolves coach Sam Okpodu as their new technical adviser, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The former Super Falcons coach left his post at Warri Wolves few days to start of the current campaign due to contractual disagreements.
He was assistant to Paul Aigbogun at Warri Wolves last season.
Okpodu's immediate task at Ikorodu United will be to help improve the fortunes of the club who have struggled to make an impact in their debut season in the top flight.
His first game in charge of his new team will be against Giwa FC in a match day seven fixture on Sunday at the Onikan Stadium.
The promoted Lagos-based outfit have won only one out of six games, drawing two and losing three of their opening six games since the start of the season.
