Rangers coach, Imama Amakapabo, is thrilled to see his side recover from their early season struggles.
The Flying Antelopes have won their last two games, with Sunday's 1-0 win against Warri Wolves their first on the road this season.
And the former Enyimba coach is happy there is now a breath of fresh air in the club after the poor run which led to the sacking of former handler of the side, Kelechi Emeteole.
"I'm happy we are getting back to our best," Imama to completesportsnigeria.com.
"It was really tough for us at the start of the season, but I must confess those criticisms have made us stronger.
''What is important now is for us to build on the result against Warri Wolves to show that we merited the win against them."
The Coal City side who were once a dominant force in the local scene are yet to win a domestic title in 31 years but the erstwhile Sharks goalkeeper is adamant they are working towards ending the drought.
"Getting back to those glorious years remains our target and I believe we will surely get their soon," he added.
