Hull FC half back Jordan Abdull has handed in a transfer request after discussion with coach Lee Radford. The 22-year-old is contracted to the club to the end of 2019 but has told his agent he does not want to remain at the out-of-from outfit.
After a bright start following his promotion from the academy ranks, he is now behind Marc Sneyd, Albert Kelly and Jake Connor in the pecking order for the half back positions.
He is also adept as a loose forward but is behind Joe Westerman, Sika Manu, and Dean Hadley.
Radford is understood to be disappointed Abdull has his heart set on leaving after handing him his debut as a teenager, but the Hull-born player believes he is good enough to be first choice.
He spent time on loan at Hull KR in the 2017 season and speculation is rife he will return there for next season.
