Adeleye ‘Humbled’ To Sign With Warren

British heavyweight David Adeleye says he is “humbled” to have signed up with promoter Frank Warren. The 22-year-old has been working his way up the amateur ranks while completing a degree in Business Management at the University of Wolverhampton.

Following his graduation, Adeleye is finally ready to make the step up to the professional stage and will be supported by Warren. Adeleye said: “I am humbled and grateful to join such a highly-ranked promotional team, which is one of the best in the world. “English boxing is at an all-time high and joining this stable now is pretty much perfect timing.”

Warren boasts some of Britain’s brightest boxers on his books, including the likes of Tyson Fury, Daniel Dubois, Nathan Gorman, Joe Joyce and Jonathan Palata. Adeleye insists he has faith in Warren to guide him in the right direction and is excited to put his mark on the heavyweight division.

He added: “I would say I will be moved along at about the speed of Daniel Dubois. Although I am not fussed who I fight, I know my lane and I am not in a rush. Frank will know the best timing and has the most experience of anyone in this game. “It is a great time to be a British heavyweight and I can’t wait to be part of these rivalries and dust-ups.”
