Anthony Joshua Sends Brutal Message To Miller

Anthony Joshua has promised to “reconstruct” Jarrell Miller’s face and body when they go head-to-head on June 1.

British heavyweight Joshua will be putting his IBF, WBA and WBO titles on the line at Madison Square Garden this summer and he is the firm favourite to extend his perfect professional record to 23-0-0.

The 29-year-old, who is expected to take on both Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder at some stage during his career, has won 21 of his 22 bouts by knockout and is arguably the biggest draw in boxing right now.

American Miller, nicknamed ‘Big Baby’, will be facing the toughest test of his career to date although he also boasts an impressive record, having won 23 fights and tied one.

The 30-year-old, who knocked out Bogdan Dinu in his last fight, has revealed the game-plan is to stop Joshua in seven rounds, but AJ has other ideas and is planning to deal out a beating to his rival.

“Look at his face. I will reconstruct his face and his body,” he was quoted as saying by Sky Sports. “I’ve got 10 years left. This is all I know. I don’t know football, rugby, NFL, basketball. I know how to knock people out and beat them up.

“Every ounce of spirit he has, I will strip him of it. I will do the job. I am a good boxer, a heavy-handed boxer. I have beaten better opponents than any heavyweight out there. “I will be the surgeon to give him a makeover.”
