Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has backed his opposite number on Sunday, Gennaro Gattuso, to be a success at AC Milan. The pair go head-to-head at the San Siro with Milan unbeaten in seven in Serie A outings, six of which have been wins, while Juve are brooding after their first defeat of the season to Manchester United on Wednesday.

Despite Milan’s form, Rino has been under pressure all season and the Milan board have failed to publically back him on a regular basis.
Allegri previously coached Il Diavolo, leading a team that included Gattuso to the Serie A title in 2010-11, and he knows the pressure that comes with the role.
Ahead of Sunday’s fixture, he has backed 40-year-old Gattuso to prove his doubters wrong by getting things right at his former club.
He said: “Rino is enterprising, he is genuine and he has improved a lot: the team, besides playing well, transmits a lot of his values, he is one of the best young technicians, coaching Milan is not easy, there are a lot of pressure. However, he is in fourth place, is making an important year and congratulations.”
