Angers are believed to be considering making a move to sign Aston Villa forward Jonathan Kodjia in the January window.
The form of on-loan striker Tammy Abraham has meant Kodjia has not been able to enjoy the game time he would have liked at Villa Park this season and there has been some speculation surrounding his future.
Angers are thought to be keeping tabs on the the player’s situation at the West Midlands outfit and could be tempted to put in a bid to land their former player, who left the the French outfit to join Bristol City back in 2015.
If Angers were to make an approach, reports have suggested they would look to secure a loan deal for the remainder of the campaign with a view to a possible permanent contract.
