Arsenal have agreed a deal with Real Madrid that will see midfielder Dani Ceballos join them on loan for the new season. Reports have been rife suggesting a potential loan deal could be in the pipeline, but they have now moved and the Gunners look to have the deal in the bag.

Unai Emery has been on the look out for someone to replace Aaron Ramsey, who joined Juventus on a free transfer at the end of the season, and Ceballos fits the bill perfectly. The 22-year-old has bags of quality, but somewhat surprisingly he does not fit in the plans of Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane, who is happy to move him on.
The Gunners are now set to take advantage and if reports are to be believed, the signing will be confirmed in the coming days. It remains to be seen whether there will be an option to sign on a permanent basis at the end of the deal. Real owner Florentino Perez rates Ceballos highly so there is a chance he will return to Madrid once his season with the Gunners is up.
