Arter Back For Bluebirds

Arter Back For Bluebirds

Harry Arter is available for Cardiff for the trip to Southampton after he sat out the win over parent club Bournemouth.

Arter is on loan at Cardiff from Bournemouth and as such was ineligible to face the Cherries last weekend.

The 29-year-old midfielder is likely to be handed a starting spot, with Josh Murphy making way.

The Bluebirds may be without Victor Camarasa, who is rated as a doubt, and Sean Morrison is out until March after being rushed into an operation with appendicitis last month.

Meanwhile, manager Neil Warnock has confirmed the club have asked the Premier League if they can retain the image of a daffodil on their shirts for Saturday’s game as a tribute to Emiliano Sala.

The match against Saints will be Cardiff’s first since the Argentine striker was officially confirmed to have died. “I don’t think I have to mention Emiliano (ahead of the game),” he told reporters. “The tributes will have an impact. “I’ve asked the Premier League if we can wear shirts with the daffodils and I’m sure they’ll allow that.”
