Gareth Bale’s agent insists the Welshman does not want to leave Real Madrid and has hit out at “stupid stories” that claim otherwise. The Wales skipper has featured more for Los Blancos this term following Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to Juventus last summer, scoring 11 goals in 24 appearances.
But his form has not stopped stories about Gareth, who has had injury problems, being linked with a move back to the Premier League on a regular basis.

However, agent Jonathan Barnett says both club and player are happy with their current relationship. “He has always felt an important part of this team,” he told Madridista Real. “Like I said before, Gareth has never wanted to leave Real Madrid. He’s really happy at the club and the club are happy with Bale. “The truth is we’re tired of the stupid stories and lies.”
