Wolves defender and club captain Danny Batth still has a role to play despite not featuring for the club so far this season. Batth has been a mainstay since making his senior debut for the club back in 2009 and played a part in firing the club straight back to the Championship from League One in 2014.
He was then given the club captaincy as the club endured a couple of disappointing seasons in the Championship.
Last season he was not involved as much following an influx of new arrivals from Portugal and played just 16 times in their Championship-winning campaign.
However, club sporting director Kevin Thelwell says he still rates Batth highly and the club have no plans to loan him out before the EFL deadline next Friday.
“Danny’s been outstanding for this football club in terms of what he brings on and off the field,” said Thelwell. “At the moment he’s very much part of the plans and part of the group.”
However, there are group of players training separately from the first team as they push for moves away.
Danny Batth, Paul Gladon and Phil Ofosu-Ayeh are all training separately at Compton Park and are all available for transfer.
