Bournemouth goalkeeper Asmir Begovic feels the international break has come at the right time as the squad look to regroup. The Cherries made a strong start to the Premier League and they sit sixth despite losing their last two outings against Manchester United and Newcastle.
Saturday’s trip to Newcastle, who started the day in the bottom three, proved to be frustrating as they fell to a 2-1 defeat.
Bournemouth boast 20 points from their opening 12 games and Begovic insists there is still a positive feeling around the Vitality, however, he admits the international break has come at the right time.
egovic said: “On the whole, we still have to be upbeat. It’s a chance for us to regroup now. “It’s a long season and there will be ups and downs, no doubt about it. We have to bounce back from the past couple of weeks and come back stronger for the festive period ahead.”
