Christian Benteke’s agent – Eris Kismet – says he is unaware of any official bids for the striker, who is happy at Crystal Palace. The Belgium international has been unlucky with injuries since joining Palace for £27million, rising to potentially £32m, in August 2016.
A knee injury has forced the ex-Aston Villa and Liverpool forward to sit out the last 11 games but that hasn’t stopped Turkish giants Besiktas from being linked to him.
However, Benteke still has another 18 months left on his lucrative Eagles contract and his agent does not expect him to be heading out of Selhurst Park in the next transfer window. “Benteke will not be joining Besiktas or any other club,” Kismet told Turkish-football. “He is focused on his recovery and will not be going anywhere over the winter transfer window. He is staying at Palace.”
