Cardiff have been linked with a move for Lewis Holtby, who is a free agent after his deal with Hamburg came to an end. Holtby joined Hamburg in 2015 from Tottenham and is now on the hunt for a new club after they opted against offering him a new deal after failing to secure an immediate return to the Bundesliga.
Cardiff boss Neil Warnock is keen to strengthen his midfield options this summer after Víctor Camarasa and Harry Arter’s loan deals came to an end and reports in Wales claim Holtby is a potential target. The Bluebirds have also been linked with Wales international Will Vaulks, who currently plays for Rotherham, as Warnock bids to bring in a few new faces for a promotion push next term.
