Bournemouth could face a battle to keep hold of Callum Wilson following reports Chelsea are lining up a January swoop. Wilson has been in blistering form this season, firing home seven goals as the Cherries have climbed to sixth place in the Premier League, and his performances are said to have caught the eye of Chelsea.
The Blues are on the lookout for a new striker as Maurzio Sarri remains unconvinced regards Alvaro Morata, and a surprise swoop on the Vitality Stadium has been mooted.
The 26-year-old’s latest goal came in the 2-1 defeat against Manchester United on Saturday and there is also talk of a call up to Gareth Southgate’s next England squad.
Bournemouth will do all they can to keep hold but a huge offer from Chelsea could be difficult to turn down, while the player himself could also be interested in a move.
Wilson is the latest player to be linked with a move away, following on from reports which claim Nathan Ake is a target for a host of Premier League rivals.
