Brighton v West Ham Team News

Brighton have a no new injury concerns ahead of Saturday’s visit of West Ham, who are sweating over the fitness of two key men. The Seagulls began life under Graham Potter in fantastic fashion last week as they ran out 3-0 winners away at Watford, an own goal from Abdoulaye Doucoure and strikes from Neal Maupay and Florin Andone handing them a first competitive win since March.

It was only the second time the south coast side have won their opening fixture in the top flight and they will be looking to back that up against a West Ham side who were hammered 5-0 by Manchester City at home.
Having seen Andone and Maupay come off the bench to score at Vicarage Road, Potter has a decision to make over whether to reward the attacking duo with a start at the Amex Stadium.

The ex-Swansea boss says Maupay is eager for for more action after his first taste of Premier League football and is pushing hard to replace Glenn Murray up front.
Potter said: “He has adapted really well into the group. He is a really good lad, desperate to play football, desperate to play for us.”

Summer signings Leandro Trossard and Adam Webster will be hoping they can force their way into the starting XI as they look to make their debuts with Potter having the same squad to choose from as he did for the clash at Watford.
Winger Jose Izquierdo and defender Ezequiel Schelotto remained out with their respective knee injuries, while midfielder Yves Bissouma continues his recovery from a shoulder injury.

Brighton will hope to continue their recent good record against the Hammers having avoided defeat in the last four meetings, winning three of those.

The London outfit made a slow start to the 2018/19 season, resulting in boss Manuel Pellegrini coming under some early pressure before turning the situation around and posting a first top-10 finish in three years.
West Ham have now lost their opening game of the season for the last three years running and are in need of a pick-me-up after being outclassed at home by the champions.

Felipe Anderson picked up a thigh issue in that loss to City and is a doubt, while record signing Sebastian Haller is facing a race against time to overcome a muscle concern.
Jack Wilshere is set to be passed fit after going off last week with a dead leg but Mark Noble remains on the sidelines due to a calf injury.
