Saint-Etienne have confirmed the signing of Remy Cabella from fellow Ligue 1 side Marseille. Cabella originally joined Marseille on loan in 2015 before turning his move permanent and he made just 32 appearances for the club since 2016.
The 28-year-old spent last season on loan with Les Verts and he scored seven goals in 28 league appearances.
After a successful loan spell, Saint-Etienne have now decided to splash the cash and Cabella has put pen to paper on a four-year deal.
Speaking about the deal, he told the club’s official website: “I am very happy to come back to Saint-Etienne.
“I was looking forward to this moment and finally feel liberated! At the end of the championship, I said that I would put ASSE in my priorities if I had to leave, here I received a love that I can not explain, it played in my choice With Wahbi (Khazri), I also find a friend of childhood.
