Canaries Hand Fresh terms To Trybull

Norwich City midfielder Tom Trybull has signed a new two-year contract to June 2022.

The 26-year-old midfielder joined the club on an initial one-year deal in the summer of 2017 after spending time on trial with Daniel Farke’s side following his release from Dutch outfit ADO Den Haag.

He has made 60 appearances for the Canaries in his two-year spell so far and the tough-tackling German has been rewarded with a new contract to stay at the Premier League newcomers.

And, the former German youth international says he was delighted to earn another extension. “I’m feeling very good and happy to sign a new deal, I really like living here and I love to play for this special club as there are so many positive things about Norwich,” he told the club website.

“When I first came to the club, it was all very new to me and my wife as it was a new country and a different experience.

“But my team-mates made it easy for me to fit in the squad and the supporters have helped me and my family to feel comfortable in the city and stadium so it was clear to us that we wanted to stay.”
