Chelsea star Mateo Kovacic should be available for the Blues this weekend despite suffering an ankle injury on international duty. The on-loan Real Madrid man missed Croatia’s defeat to England on Sunday due to the issue.
However, the playmaker is set to return for the meeting with Spurs at Wembley Stadium.
Coach Maurizio Sarri has a fully-fit squad available although some players are nursing knocks ahead of the London derby.
Confirming his squad, Sarri told reporters: “No big problems. As usual after the national teams, there are some little problems. Some with little injuries, some a little bit tired. Fortunately, we don’t have big problems. Kovacic is doing better.
“He had an ankle problem but he is doing better yesterday in training with the team and so I think that he will be able to play.”
Sarri’s side are unbeaten in 18 games but a close encounter is expected, with Spurs winning their last four.
