Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe says young Cherries star Jack Simpson has a bright future for both club and country. The centre-half made his England Under-21 debut in their friendly win over Denmark in the last international break and Howe thinks that will be the first of many.
The 21-year-old has yet to be included in a Premier League squad for the Cherries but has featured in the Carabao Cup and Howe says his progression into the Under-21s for his country is great for the club.
He told the Echo: “It is really good for the club for the club. “Jack has come through our system and is a great lad who wants to do well.
He has a really promising career ahead of him if he can keep his head down and work hard. “His Under-21s debut was a really big moment for him and his family and I’m sure he will always remember it.
“We enjoy working with him He is very keen to improve and has worked hard behind the scenes at all aspects of his game, he has got a bright future.”
