Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is hoping to have Fernandinho available for Saturday’s clash with Wolves. The Brazil international has started both of City’s Premier League games so far this term but has been nursing a knock this week.
Guardiola is confident the midfielder will be ready for the early kick-off at Molineux after he returned to training on Friday.
However, Kevin De Bruyne and Danilo will miss out, with the former expected to miss up to three months with a knee issue.
Goalkeeper Claudio Bravo could also be sidelined for several months with an Achilles injury so Aro Muric, who was recalled from his loan with NAC Breda this week, will take a place on the bench.
