Brooks Koepka says he is feeling good after keeping his seven-shot lead heading into the final round of the US PGA Championship. American Koepka, who has been breaking all sorts of record at Bethpage this week, made three birdies and three bogeys for a level-par round of 70 on Saturday to sit top of the pile on -12.

Despite missing the chance to record a third straight round in the 60s, the 29-year-old is still seven shots clear going into the final 18 holes on Sunday and he insists he will not be playing defensive golf. “I’m definitely not going to let up,” he was quoted as saying by the PGA Tour’s website.
“I feel confident. I feel good. I feel excited. I was excited to get to the golf course and try to build the lead.” World number one Dustin Johnson is in a four-way share of second on -5 alongside US compatriots Luke List and Harold Varner III and Thailand’s Jazz Janewattananond, who went round in 67 on Saturday.
Japanese Hideki Matsuyama and England’s Matt Wallace are a further stroke back on -4, eight shots off the lead, while Xander Schauffele, Patrick Cantlay, Jordan Spieth and Adam Scott are all on -3.
