Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo says individual consistency is the key to his side getting back on track. The Molineux-outfit are without a win in their last five, a run that has seen them drop to 11th in the table and Sunday’s 2-0 home defeat to Huddersfield was arguably their poorest display of the season.
Next up is a trip to Cardiff on Friday and Nuno will be looking to channel the memories of last season, when his side won 1-0 in the Welsh capital.
The Portuguese concedes his side have been left frustrated by their displays and says his players need to find a way to ensure they produce a constant level of performances. “We need individual consistency,” he told the club website.
“You can’t afford to have players up and down on their performance, it’s a basic aspect for us. “Individually, each one of us has to look inside and see what aspects didn’t work out and bounce back.
The moral cannot be doubted by a bad performance, we truly believe in what we do and how we do things, and we keep moving forward. “What we thought at the beginning of the season is to go game by game.
The table is not important, but we must improve on our performance and the results will come. The most important thing is how we react.”
