Shaun Cooper says he is looking forward to the challenge after being appointed Bournemouth Under-21s boss for the rest of the season. With Carl Fletcher taking over the role of overseeing players who leave the Cherries on loan, Cooper has come in to fill the void with the young players pushing for first-team action.

Cooper is excited by the job at hand on the south coast and feels it provides him the perfect opportunity to take a step closer to potential first-team management at a club in the future.
He told the club website: “I’m very excited. The challenges ahead are to carry on as the boys were. “Fletch did a very good job and prepared the boys for a career in the game, so nothing changes there. “We are looking to develop the youngsters and me as a coach.”
