Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo could be on the move before Friday’s deadline with Aston Villa and French side Reims chasing a loan deal. The 21-year-old winger spent last term on loan at Fulham, helping the club win promotion to the Premier League via the playoffs, scoring four goals from 22 Championship appearances, and the Reds are keen to send him out again.
Boss Jurgen Klopp is well aware that more regular first-team football will help his development and is happy to sanction another temporary switch.
The Reds would probably prefer him to stay closer to home with Villa, but everything will hinge on where he will get most game time.
Reims have made an impressive start to their Ligue 1 campaign, having taken six points from a possible nine on offer, but manager their David Guion is still keen on strengthening his squad before the window closes in two days.
It is claimed the French outfit have expressed an interest in signing England Under-21 international Ojo on loan for the rest of the season and a deal could be struck over the next couple of days.
Villa are also said to be keen on signing the rising Reds’ star, but it appears Reims have moved to the head of the queue and a loan could be agreed very soon.
