Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain will battle for the services of Alexis Sanchez, who is set to leave Manchester United in January. Sanchez has struggled since arriving at Old Trafford from Arsenal back in January, and looks to be heading for the exit door 12 months later following Jose Mourinho’s latest snub.
Sanchez was left on the bench against Manchester City at the weekend, coming on in the 73rd minute, and reports in the tabloids claim that was the final straw for the Chilean.
Sanchez expected to be a key figure for United, but that has not turned out to be the case, partly because of his own disappointing form and he is keen to jump ship.
Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard are both ahead of him in the pecking order and with the former set to pen a new deal, Sanchez is being pushed closer to the exit door.
United will not stand in his way and are keen to get him off wage bill to make way for their own new signings.
Real and PSG are among the few clubs who could afford to take on his wages and both United and Sanchez will be hoping one of them comes in with a bid.
