Manchester United duo Jesse Lingard and Alexis Sanchez are in contention to feature in Saturday’s clash with Bournemouth. Lingard’s last appearance in the starting XI came against Derby in the Carabao Cup defeat at Old Trafford on September 25.
He did make a brief cameo from the bench against Everton last time out and boss Jose Mourinho has hinted he is in contention for the trip to the Vitality Stadium.
Sanchez was an unused substitute against the Toffees and his most recent outing came from the bench in the draw at Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Antonio Valencia has struggled for game time this term after undergoing “complicated surgery”, but he is finally available for selection.
Mourinho will be without Diogo Dalot and Marouane Fellaini as they continue to nurse injuries sustained on the international break.
