Leeds United and Middlesbrough are reported to be showing an interest in Everton’s England under-21 international Kieran Dowell. The 21-year-old is highly thought of at Goodison Park but is struggling to force his way into Marco Silva’s first-team set up and another loan move away from the club could be on the cards.

Dowell got some valuable match action under his belt while on loan with Nottingham Forest last season and reports claim another move to the Championship is likely.
Both Leeds and Boro are pushing to win promotion to the Premier League and will be looking to bolster their squads when the transfer window opens again.
Everton would want assurances over how much game time he would get and will think long and hard before deciding on his next move, which is crucial to his development.
The youngster has made the bench on three occasions in the Premier League this season and started both Carabao Cup fixtures.
