Eagles Braced For Wan-Bissaka Bid

Manchester United are preparing a £25million bid for Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Crystal Palace are set to reject their opening offer. The Old Trafford club have been linked with the Eagles full-back for some time and the Evening Standard say they are now ready to make their move.

However, Palace value Wan-Bissaka at around £50m and are set to knock back the initial offer from United. The 21-year-old is under contract until 2022 and as such the Eagles are under no pressure to sell, and with other clubs believed to be keen United may well have to match Wan-Bissaka’s full asking price if they are to snare the defender during the summer window.

United have also been linked with Wilfried Zaha and the opening bid for Wan-Bissaka could be an attempt to start a dialogue regarding a double-deal rather than a serious bid to sign the England U21 international for a cut-price.
