Edwards Wary Of Scotland Threat

Wales assistant coach Shaun Edwards is wary of the threat posed by Scotland but feels the men in red have more to give.

Wales currently sit top of the Six Nations table, having won all three of their games, including victory over a much-fancied England side last time out.

Next up is a trip to Murrayfield on Saturday to face a Scotland outfit sitting fifth in the standings, with one win and two losses to their name.

The Welsh have an excellent record in Edinburgh, having lost just once in the city in the past 12 years, but Edwards is taking nothing for granted.

“We are fully aware that the last time we went up there, they definitely did a great job on us,” he told WRU TV. “Finn Russell was absolutely outstanding that day.

They controlled the second half and we definitely got on the wrong side of the referee that day as well. “So we are very determined to go up there and give a better account of ourselves than we did in the second half two years ago.”

The rugby league legend also believes Wales can take things to another level, adding: “We always want to improve and we would like to think the longer we have the players, the better we get.”
