Everton have been tipped to make a move for Inter Milan striker Gabriel Barbosa, who is currently on loan at Santos. Manager Marco Silva is keen to bolster his options in attack in January and an out-and-out centre forward is understood to be a target.
Reports in Barbosa’s homeland of Brazil claim the Goodison Park outfit are considering a swoop for the 23-year-old despite his struggles to adapt in Milan.

The 22-year-old joined the Nerazzurri in 2016 but managed just one goal in nine Serie A appearances for the Italian club.
The forward joined Portugal’s Benfica in the summer of 2017 on loan for the season but the deal was cut short and he moved to Santos in January this year.
It is thought Barbosa, nicknamed ‘Gabigol’, is now keen to try his luck in the Premier League when the winter transfer window opens and Everton have been mooted as suitors, although they could face competition from Crystal Palace and West Ham.
Barbosa is under contract at Inter until 2021 and Everton may pursue a loan deal with a view to buy outright next summer, rather than seek a permanent transfer initially given his previous struggles in European football.
