Everton Mull Move For Chelsea Starlet

Everton are planning a summer move for Tammy Abraham but their hopes of landing him may hinge on Chelsea’s transfer ban appeal. Abraham has spent the season on loan at Aston Villa from Chelsea and has impressed in the Championship with 25 goals in 37 appearances.

Everton are expected to be in the market for a new striker in the summer as Cenk Tosun is tipped to depart, and reports claim Abraham has emerged as a target. However, Chelsea have been handed a ban from signing players for the next two transfer windows and may only be open to offers if their appeal against the sanction is successful.

If the Stamford Bridge club are prepared to sell Abraham, it has been suggested a fee in the region of £25-£30million will be enough to land the forward. Everton could face competition as Villa want to snare Abraham permanently if they earn promotion to the Premier League, while Wolves and Germany’s RB Leipzig have also been linked.
