Eintracht Frankfurt coach Adi Hutter has confirmed Marco Fabian is set to leave the club in the coming weeks. The Mexico international has just one year left on his current contract and reports claim that he will not be signing fresh terms.
Fabian confirmed last week that he is happy at the club but Frankfurt are ready to cash in this summer, rather than lose him for free in 12 months time.
Frankfurt are hoping they can reach an agreement with another club before the end of August, with Hutter admitting he needs to reduce his squad.
“Everyone can see that we have a big squad and basically I will be reducing it,” Hunter said, before adding: “I’ve been told that [Fabian] could still move.”
