Cardiff forward Lee Tomlin is reportedly still a target for Nottingham Forest and could leave before the end of the month. The 29-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at the City Ground – scoring four times in 15 outings – as Forest struggled in the bottom half of the table.
Tomlin is not in Neil Warnock’s plans and he was given permission to move on this summer.
However, Forest failed to agree a deal prior to the transfer deadline earlier this month, although they can still take him on loan.
Reports in Wales claim that Forest are expected to re-sign the former Middlesbrough man on loan with a view to a permanent deal.
