Leicester City defender Christian Fuchs feels the Foxes can produce even more after beating Fleetwood 4-0 in the Carabao Cup. Claude Puel made several changes for the tie, including throwing the 32-year-old Austrian into the line up, but it made no difference as they ran out comfortable winners against the League One side.
Fuchs opened the scoring with a great strike from the edge of the box, before Vicente Iborra, Kelechi Iheanacho, and Rachid Ghezzal finished the rout.”It was great, we took it very seriously, no matter which opponent we are facing we try and give it our best,” Fuchs said after the game. “I think all the people that were here in the stadium had the same feeling that we gave it our best, and that’s how you win 4-0.
“It’s always tricky. You have to take it very seriously; I think we did a good job today and we’re very proud of the win.
“Obviously we have Liverpool now at home next. They are a great team, no doubt about that, but we have the confidence and we are trying to give our best there as well.”
