Marseille manager Rudi Garcia is confident summer buy Duje Caleta-Car will prove to be a success at the Velodrome. OM landed the Croatia international in a 19million euros deal from Red Bull Salzburg in July.

The 22-year-old has struggled to make an impact so far and has managed just four Ligue 1 appearances, two of which were starts, but Garcia is convinced the centre-half will become a key man for Marseille.
Garcia feels the defender is under additional pressure to impress after reaching the final of the World Cup with Croatia which also ensured he had a limited pre-season with the French club. “I’m not disappointed with Caleta-Car.
It takes time,” he told RMC Sport. “He has to make more complete matches. His prejudice is to have been in the final of the World Cup. “When you are a new recruit, young in a foreign club and need to adapt, arrive after three weeks of break and a World Cup that ended July 15 for him, it is not ideal.”
