Aleix Garcia could be ready to follow Jadon Sancho’s lead and seek a permanent move away from Manchester City next summer. The talented defensive midfielder is enjoying a second season on loan at the Citizens’ La Liga sister club Girona, making 11 appearances this term.
Spaniard Garcia arrived from Villarreal three years ago but has struggled to make a first-team breakthrough at the Etihad and is already weighing up his options.
City chiefs are still hopeful the 21-year-old can make the grade in Manchester despite the starlet only having five appearances for his parent club.

Garcia has less than two years remaining on his City deal and sources close to the player have hinted he will speak to Pep Guardiola before deciding whether to now call it quits at the club.
Girona may be willing to offer him a permanent home, with Garcia seeing how his former youth team-mate Sancho has since blossomed at Borussia Dortmund after deciding to move away last year.
