Getafe are close to landing Chelsea midfielder Kenedy on a season-long loan deal. The Brazilian, who Chelsea signed from Fluminense in a £6.3million deal in 2015, is in Spain for a medical ahead of the switch.
Getafe may be able to sign the 23-year-old on a permanent basis next summer because Kenedy will be a free agent.
Kenedy has entered the final year of his Chelsea deal and has been unable to force his way into the team since his arrival.
The winger has managed just 27 appearances in total for Chelsea, 15 of which came in the Premier League.
Kenedy spent the latter half of the 2017-18 season on loan at Newcastle and then spent the whole of last term on loan at St James’ Park.
