Poland international Kamil Glik has indicated he would be interested in a return to former club Torino. The central defender enjoyed a five-year spell with Il Toro between 2011 and 2016, amassing over 150 appearances in all competitions before he moved to Ligue 1 club Monaco.
Glik still remains at Monaco and has been a regular feature despite their struggles this season, but he admits part of his heart remains with Torino and he would be interested in a return to the club at some stage.
“It doesn’t depend on me, but I’d certainly be very happy with it, considering my past there,” Glik told Sky Sport Italia.
“I spent five wonderful years at Toro and now I am watching all the games I can involving my former team-mates, because I did leave a piece of my heart at Torino.”
The 30-year-old, who also spent time with Palermo and Bari earlier in his career, will be in action against Italy on Sunday, as his Poland side will play host to the Azzurri in the UEFA Nations League.
