Gracia Urges Watford To Express Themselves

Watford manager Javi Gracia has urged his team to show Tottenham what they can do when they meet on Wednesday night. The Hornets are on a tremendous run of late, with Gracia’s men unbeaten in their last six games in all competitions.

They were last in action against Newcastle in the FA Cup, coming away from the north-east with a 2-0 win, but sceptics claim the Hertfordshire outfit have not had a big test in recent weeks.

Spurs are likely to pose a serious threat on Wednesday and Gracia has urged his side to give a good account of themselves.

He told the club’s official website: “We create a lot of chances. We are the team with the most missed big chances, 43, more than Manchester City, more than Liverpool. We need to be improve and be more clinical. “Not only this game, in all the games we are playing, it is a good chance to show what we are able to do, try to show our improvement in this case against Tottenham. It is something different against one of the best teams in this league. We are sure it will be very, very demanding.”
