Arsenal will find out in the next few days if they have a chance of signing Lucas Vazquez as Real Madrid are set to make a decision on his future.
The Gunners are reported to be lining up a £31million transfer for the flying winger and reports in Spain claim they will know in the next few days whether a deal will happen.
Real are due to fly to the US for their pre-season tour on Tuesday and reports claim if a deal is to happen, they want it sorted before they leave.
Madrid chief Jose Angel Sanchez is dealing with the transfer and is said to have set the deadline as the Gunners are not the only interested party.
Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan and Bayern Munich are all said to be keen but it is though the Spain international would prefer a move to the Premier League, if a deal can be hammered out with Arsenal.
Vazquez played 47 games for Real last season, but will be allowed to leave as they rebuild under Zinedine Zidane.
